Farid Dms Debah is an audiovisual producer and director, born in Paris in 1976. He has French and Algerian nationality.
Farid lived between the ages of 8 and 11 in Oum el Bouaghi, the hometown of his parents. Following the assassination of his maternal uncle, a professional soldier, by terrorists in a collision near Blida, his family decides to return to live in France.
Very early on, he embarked on activism and entrepreneurship. An independent director, he quickly gained recognition in his field by winning various international prizes. He is often called upon for his expertise and skills in his professional environment.
A human rights activist and politically committed in his city, he has been elected municipal since 2018.
Farid is present from the first rallies against Bouteflika’s 5th term in place of the Republic.
In May 2019, he founded the Citizen Movement for Algeria (MCA) which is a think tank working to establish the rule of law in Algeria.
